Now with some internal upgrades and using the Heavy Duty Smart Clamps, the XP-10-HD can put out an additional 50 Amps of cranking power over the original XP-10 model. The larger wires and jaw of the Heavy Duty Smart Clamps allow a much better connection to the vehicle’s battery terminals. They have a stronger clamping force and transfer the electrical current much better. Additionally these clamps have 5 built-in safety protections like our other clamps including reverse polarity protection, back-charge protection, short-circuit protection and more.
